Voting gives power to the decision of the majority and completely reject the minority which is seen to be imbalance and unfair even when the majority decision cannot be sidelined. This gap that exist between the majority and minority have consequences that are economical, social, political and governance.
Economical Consequences: The acquiring of a full scale global economic power largely depend on the efforts of both the majority and minority population of nations. An economy especially a capitalist state where the economy requires the full participation of both the majority and minority as to maintain a positive national income to support development and create ways for investment rat holes. Voting has no remedy of a chance or a conducive room for the participation of the minority in decision making and governance. Economy in general concentrate on all human beings and their wants and maintain that the problem of resource mobilization and wealth maximization is due to minority sidelines.
Social Consequences: Social fragmentation due to minority sidelines shows voting is imbalance and causes tension and conflict rather social order. Socially the fragmentation of a society is hazardous to the people and can cause intolerance and division. The minority and the majority is divided by voting in which socially, there is a certain tension and a bound conflict.
Political Consequences: political division due to the imbalance and unfairness of voting not favoring the minority to own part of governance unless if the minority have the highest number of seats in the parliament which is the only chance left to fully have approved decisions sign by the president. This always isolate the interest of the minority in participating to develop and construct a nation.
Governance Consequences: Due to the loss in the side of the minority in elections, the government tend to receive opposing moves in governance. This is due to the nature of fairness of voting allowing the majority to decide for the minority.
Solutions: Voting can be fair and balanced if the minority is not sidelined in decision making and their decisions approved by not only the majority approval but by the nature of vitality of the decision on the majority base on facts to construct and develop the nation. Voting is more fair than selections and not easily substituted because of the power of the majority but providing room for the minority in governance to boost economic productivity, social order, decentralization of governance and political order.
